In the buzz of our factory in Adenta, where the machines have been singing for over half a decade, something shifted. We had spent years stitching perfect uniforms and garments for oil rigs, hospitals, schools and shops around the world - thousands of pieces leaving Ghana's shores every month, proudly carrying the "Made in Ghana" tag. Yet every day we watched from afar mothers, students, workers, and traders who dig through piles of second-hand clothes in Kantamanto and its annexes around the country, searching for something decent for themselves and their children; something that wouldn't tear after one wash, something that fit the heat and the hustle of our lives in Ghana.
So we asked ourselves a simple question: If we can make world-class garments for the toughest markets and jobs on earth, why can't we make beautiful, affordable everyday clothes for our own people - and for families everywhere who deserve better?
That answer to that question is Cinnamon.
